Jesse is a partner at Rice Parsons Leoni & Elliott LLP. For over 12 years, Jesse’s legal practice has been devoted to working for individuals, holding insurance companies, governments and defendants accountable for harms they cause. Jesse has represented clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal and has recovered compensation for his clients in negotiated settlements and in trial.

Jesse’s practice is restricted to plaintiff-only work – his personal injury practice includes medical negligence, occupier’s liability claims, carbon monoxide poisoning claims, wrongful death claims, insurance denials (life insurance, LTD denial, property losses), civil assaults, sexual assaults and car accidents. In his class action practice, Jesse prosecutes claims involving pharmaceutical and medical devices, consumer products and nicotine products.

Jesse has seen insurance companies and other powerful organizations take advantage of people, and it is this injustice that motivates him to help his clients. Fundamental to our system of justice is a notion of fairness. By assisting his clients from the early stages of litigation and guiding them through to trial, Jesse strives to ensure that his clients are heard, treated fairly and receive fair compensation during difficult times in their lives.
